Este es un problema que disminuye la calidad de vida de la persona ya que la misma no disfruta del descanso necesario para restablecer su energ\u00eda.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El proceso de sue\u00f1o es fundamental para el correcto funcionamiento del cerebro ya que en este proceso se desarrollan importantes procesos qu\u00edmicos que ayudan a restablecer el orden, ayuda a descansar y activar la capacidad de vigilia y concentraci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Causas del insomnio\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se considera que una persona tiene insomnio cuando duerme menos de 5 horas por 5 d\u00edas a la semana, esto puede ser cuando una persona tarda m\u00e1s de 30 minutos en conciliar el sue\u00f1o o se despierta repetidas veces en la noche. Las causas pueden ser:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fisiol\u00f3gicas o ambientales &#8211; no dormir en un lugar agradable o enfermedades, embarazo, cambio de rutina o realizar actividades estimulantes antes de acostarse.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Psiqui\u00e1tricas &#8211; Depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad, anorexia o crisis psicol\u00f3gicas.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consumo de sustancias psicotr\u00f3picas o medicamentos estimulantes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>\u00bfCu\u00e1nto tiempo debemos dormir?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La cantidad de horas que dormimos tambi\u00e9n es importante ya que dependiendo la edad que tiene la persona necesita cierta cantidad espec\u00edfica para un correcto descanso. Lo recomendable antes de buscar apoyo de f\u00e1rmacos o plantas medicinales, es determinar la causa del insomnio. Una excelente alternativa y por donde debemos comenzar es por tener una mejor higiene de sue\u00f1o que significa seguir pasos como:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mantener siempre un mismo horario para acostarse y levantarse.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evitar dormir durante el d\u00eda y levantarse de la cama al momento de despertarse.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Controlar la temperatura de la habitaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evitar comer mucho de noche.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evitar estimulantes psicotr\u00f3picos como el alcohol.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No beber muchos l\u00edquidos.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No fumar.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Escuchar m\u00fasica relajante o leer.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Realizar ejercicios de relajaci\u00f3n o meditaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Tratamientos de insomnio\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es muy importante buscar el soporte de un experto antes de recurrir a cualquier tratamiento. De la mano del experto se podr\u00e1 identificar el problema y tratarlo adecuadamente. Tanto los f\u00e1rmacos como las plantas medicinales con propiedades hipn\u00f3ticas deben ser usados con prudencia y cualquier insomnio que supere las dos semanas debe ser evaluado por un especialista para evitar complicaciones.
